Anyone knows how to come back to the menu item that opens a forms when exiting the opened forms? Now, when i exit the opened forms, it comes back to the main menu and not to the menu item that opens it. I'm using oracle forms 4.5 in character mode.
Thank you.

You may store item name into some "global" storage (global variable, recordgroup or shared library packaged variable) in post-form trigger. Regards, Dima

thanks sem for your answer, but i don't know how to get the item name. i've tried to look for in the forms help on-line, but i don't understand how to use the menu built-ins "get_menu_item_property" and "set_menu_item_property". can you help me ?

Oops, if you're talking about menu items, I suspect that there's no direct decision, as they are not navigable programmatically. I may suggest you to create your own menu system (simulate its behaviour using stacked canvases and buttons). I know that it's not so complex, because I did it (though to long ago). Regards, Dima
