Hello:

Is anyone out there using Oracle's e-Commerce Gateway to conduct EDI business? If so, do you have anything that would help me determine which EDI segment maps to a corresponding Oracle segment?

I am using GXS' Application Integrator software for the mapping. We currently do 850s (inbound), 810s (outbound), and 856s.

Thanks for your help,
Kevin Gravelle

We use the ecommerce gateway for payments. The ECEPYO file that is produced has record types and layouts that can be printed from the gateway. These record types must then be "mapped" manually with your EDI translator software. The mapping that you use is usually dictated by your trading partner, ie they want a particular piece of info in a particular segment. Each trading partner can be different. hope this helps
