I've been tasked to find out what is causing the following action, and to stop it.

We have a machine that's running a portal with Oracle 9IAS. The machine is at

.tld

When the user types in the fully qualified domain name, the page comes up, and the URL in the address bar automatically goes to this:

The boss wants it to go to this:

What is making it do this, and where do I stop it?

Thanks
J.D.

I assume you are running iAS1.0.2 (Portal 3.0) otherwise the installation will have failed. Look for "ServerName" in httpd.conf ($ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf - there are 2!! entries) and change it to the full qualified name. After that you need to run "ssodatan" ($ORACLE_HOME/portal30/amdin/plsql) with the full qualified URLs to Portal and Login Server. If you have set up multiple partner applications you need to register them again after running ssodatan.
