Hi

I have installed Oracle 9.2.1.0 onto Solaris 8 and as part of running the root.sh script. This has installed Legato Networker backup software and is attempting to backup the server as well as sending annoying product registration mails.

I need to remove this software but the instructions I found on the internet use pkgrm, but I don't think it was installed as a package as it doesn't work. Any ideas on removing this software?

Thanks

Phil.

pkginfo | grep -i legato
-> pkgrm legatopackage(s)

Sorted this already, should have thought about this a bit more. I had a look in the scripts that did the install and found the packages that were added. The thing that threw me was that they are prefixed with ORCL and not LGTO as the Legato documentation described.

Thanks

Phil.
