Oracle 8.1.7 and .NET???

Currently in our company we have Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise Edition running on a Win NT4 server. We are planning to migrate to .NET Server (Windows 2003 Server) in the near future. Can someone answer the following questions:

1. Can Oracle 8.1.7 be reinstalled on a .NET Server?
2. If not, can WinNT4 and .NET Server coexist in the same environment? This would allow us to leave Oracle in its current server.

According to Oracle they are only going to support 9iR2 on this platform and only after a patch release
