Hi,
I have a Cisco 3750 24 port switch that has a Cisco 1242 WAP attached. With option 1 turned off on the Catalyst 3750, I can connect to the Wireless Access Point using WPA preshared key TKIP. However, when we associate the Cisco 3750 to use option 1, the Siemens Optipoint WL2 phone does not get a valid IP address. I check the logs in the WAP and switch to trace the request for an IP address to the DHCP server. Somehow the switch doesn't get a chance to pass the IP address back to the WL2 phone. Any ides on how to get this to work besides turning off option 1 on the switch?
Thanks
