I have a 61 on RLS 21 integrating with an Octel 350 with 48 ports. We recently discovered that the hunt sequesnce was getting a busy after 31 of the ports were active. Tried modifying the hunt sequesce by putting and ACD DN NCFW from port 18 to 19 did not change, tried ACD DN NCFW on port 31 to port 32, did not work. The ACD DN info was performed per the Octel config notes. We still get a busy on the 32nd port. Has anybody run across this? Does anybody know the work around?

the only work around was the one you tried.. port 31 hunts to 7777.. 7777 is an acd maxp 1 ncfw 3333 if 7777 was a vacant dn and 3333 is the pdn of port 32

John,

are you aware of any limitations on the Nortel in the number of ports that can be set up in a hunt sequence?

Are your Octel ports programmed as ACD agents? They should be for auto login if you loss power or connection. Than make sure you have 48 agents in the ACD QUE.

Also - what type of TNs are you required to use... If TYPE SL1, the question becomes "How many ports are in that Loop of the PBX" -

In other words, is the limitation related to timeslots in the loop?...rather than Hunting?
