We have an issue passing the DN from an option 11c over a PRI with ess5 signaling to Asterisk. Allow me to explain.
Our company has an older hub and spoke T1 network using option 11c switches. The hub has a PRI connected to the * box, remote option 11 PBXs connect to the option 11 at the hub via PRI.
DNs on remote switches are passed to * without issue. There is no name, but that is ok. When an incoming call from a DN on the option 11 at the hub is passed to * we receive neither name nor number. We do receive UNKNOWN UNKNOWN.
A PRI debug on the * reveals a blank IE field on such calls.
I'm a newbie and our $125/hr Nortel support company has been unable to help.
Is anyone out there well versed with this type of integration?
I can post DCH, RLI, RDB, DSC, and the like if needed.
