Hi all,
We are stumped. Our Option11 has stopped working to external calls.
But we found that by "bouncing" the T1 card (using LD 96 and 60) it will temporarily connect to the IAD - but only very briefly (15 or 20 seconds ). This actually gives me time to make a call to (or from the PBX, then talk a few seconds before getting the red alarm (it also alarms on IAD).
(It goes into red alarm even if we don't make the phone call). We can carry on a brief two-way conversation for the length of the call - up to about 10 seconds.
All indications are that both our ISP and the Meridian are set for NI2 (as they should be, and as they have been for quite some time now). (If it was in fact a signaling issue - no call would go through at all, right?)
Ever have an ISP and PBX vendor point at each other? That's kind of what's happening here. But we can make that short call...
We have cbeyond and use their Cisco IAD. 3 bonded T1s. We've tried swapping the t1 card and the IAD (no difference). We've re-seated the T1 card too, and have tried both warm-starting and cold-starting the Option11. Meridian is downlevel (Rel 24 as I recall...I know, don't get me started...)
Anybody seen this before? Your help GREATLY appreciated!
Many thanks in advance!
