I don't know what causes it or how to stop it from happening any help at all would be real great pleasure!
When rebooting windows "ME" I get the screen that gives me the option to retart normal/safe mode /selective/ logged and starts counting down. I always choose normal start and have no problems. I just don't need or want to see this screen anymore please help I'm about to screem
Thanks Mark G.

usually comes from a file msdos.sys, a text file with a line "BootMenu=1". File is in root directory with r s h attributes. Edit the file to change the 1 to 0 , or delete the line completely.

I searched but there is no file by that name any other Idea's

you have to attrib the file in order to seeit i.e
attrib -s -h -r msdos.sys then edit the file then attrib +s +h +r msdos.sys to hide it again

I'm sorry but I am actually quite cluless as to what it means to "attrib" the file
Thanks again M.G.

start, programs, msdos
cd attrib -s -h -r msdos.sys
edit msdos.sys
move to line BootMenu=1 change 1 to 0
altkey f s
altkey f x
attrib +s +h +r msdos.sys
exit

you should be at the desktop, reboot the system and see if it went away. Ed Fair

Either that or get TWEAK/UI. Get it at execute the tweakui.exe and save it in c:\tweak (overwrite the c:\windows\temp. Thats a messy place to load files to) The folder will be created automatically. Then RIGHT-click on tweakui.inf and select install. Next go to Control Panel, open Tweakui, and choose the 'Boot' tab. Uncheck 'always show boot menu'. Reboot and you'er all set. Tweakui offers lots of neat options you can play with. Just be careful. Treat it with respect and don't try things if you don't fully understand what the result will be.
