option 81c core disabled with CF flashing

Noticed my CPU 1 is disabled and not responding status. I split the cores and tried to restart the disabled cpu. The CF led is flashing on the disabled core. I assume that means the compact flash on the CPU card is corrupt? ANy help would be appreciated.

That CF light is for the faceplate CF slot, not the on board CF. Is there anything in the CF slot? If so remove it and try and reboot it.

Yes a card for removable backups. Will try that.

no change. Still will not boot.
