Option 61 on R21.19 cant retrieve keycode file?

Hello Guys,

I need some advice please.

We are trying to retrieve the keycode file from an old Meridian Option 61. However can't for some reason.
Do you know if it possible to view the keycode from a Meridian-1 Option 61 running on software release 21.19?

On the newer machines (R23.xx onwards), you can easily access the files once you're in the PDT level; unfortunately for this R21.19; i could not access the PDT level remotely; i am not even sure anymore if PDT is available on this release at all...

I don't think you had keycode files at release 21. I think pdt wasn't available, but $$ was used instead. Your system might have probably used the cartridge version.

There is no pdt and no keycode, the system you have runs the x11 software directly (no vxworks host os), the packages etc were restricted/unrestricted through the use of a hardware cartridge as firebirdscrambler mentioned.

I have a similar scenario here; i need to access the debug level on a really old system that uses a software cartridge (Rel. 8.xx) using $$ but, i don't have a clue on what the default password is.

Does any one knows the default password for this level?, i tried the pdt1/pdt2 default passwords for newer release to no avail.

I know the procedure for the old Option 11 systems. However, can you still log in with the old default password and do a backup in LD 43?. Its easier to read the backup file.
