didn't remember the 51 being made redudndant. at one time the 61 was redudnant and the 51 had a single cpu.. but that may have been a local nomenclature
I need to connect a CC card QPC775 and I´ve got an old manual that tells that in a option 51 the CC is connected in slot 9 in Network module and the 51c in slot 8 core/net. I think that the PBX It´s a 51c because It´s has ENET cards in the core/net (in option 51 the core and network were in differnce shelves?), but in slot 9 is tag as CC
Clock controler card have to be in slot 9 in Option 51C, left side of PS card. Slot may be labelled as CC.
You cannot say it's opt51C cause ENET card in the core/net.
51C refer to architecture core shelf. ENET card can be seated in 51 and 51C as well. In LD 22 PRT TYPE CINV to check your PBX, or ISS give you the generic number that identify the PBX type
not really, it's been over a decade since i saw a 51 and it was an upgrade from a 21.. that was a pain. i worked on old nt's for years and then went to rolm, came back to nortel after the 81c was the "big" switch.. i was trained at one time (memory block) that if you have a cni then your looking at the c model.. but at that time they still made the 21 51 51c 61 61c 71 71c and 81,81c if i remember right they stopped the 21 and came out with the 11,, 90 percent of the switches ive installed were 61c or 81c's with a few (20) opt 11's..
