Guys,

Have you ever configured option 125 on a Win 2008 Server?

How?

Regards,

Daniel

Thank you Bob,

I'll try it anyway, and let you know if dificulties. Regards,

Daniel

Bob, A couple of questions regarding "How to set up DHCP option 125 on windows 2008"

1. Confirm the first screen shot is from Win2003 and not 2008
2. Assuming I will be using two scopes: one for Data and one for Voice: Do I need to add Option 125 for both scopes? I guess the answer is yes.

Regards,

Daniel

Yes you need 125 for both scopes. However, for the data scope you should only need to insert the vlan info. No icp/tftp info is required

That's providing you are not using cdp or lldp to provide the phones with vlan info
