Option 11C remote notication question

How do I setup remote notification? I have a cell phone that I would like to have a text message show up. What are my options?

are you using mermail, if so you'll need a remote notification class of service for a voice call, the lady inthe box will call and tell you you have a msg, or you can use txt msg as if it were a pager and get the ext number of the person leaving the msg.. not cap of doing the actual msg. in txt format.. my box was set up to call my cell and give me option to log in and here the msg.. works great..

I had that part working. It would call my cell phone, but if I didn't pick up, it turned off remote notification because it couldn't be reached.

Thoughts?

use the retry prompt and add a second (reachable) number as the second attempt..
