Option 11C Message Waiting Lamps

Hi All!

This has turned into the install from hell! I have never had so many problems with a switch before.

I have complaints that Message waiting lamps are not working. We have a 2 cabinet Option 11C system. Everything is programmed correct. The complaints are from users in both cabinets. What could the trouble be?

on any phone add mik and mck keys key x mck, etc.. that will turn lights off and on, press the key dial the dn, press the key again

also check the analog line cards, some of the older ones did not allow msg waiting

There are only about 12 phones (out of 65 installed) that are not lighting the message waiting lamp, oddly they are all members of the ACD group? MerMail is working fine for all 65 users.

The 12 phones, do they have other DN's or extensions assigned on them other than the ACD queue itself on Key 0???

Post a print out of one of the 12 phones MWK not working, it'll help a lot.

Yes, each phone has a DN assigned to key 5

1. Make sure that the DN is "MARP"' on their respective TN.
2. CLS = MWA
3. The primary DN on the MAILBOX itself is the KEY 5 DN and not the ACD queue.

All of that is correct in programming

Post a TNB of one of the sets.

key 5 mwk xxxx for the forward to mer mail prompt and mwa is cls, for analog lamps, mwa and lpa in class, you should have sutter dial tone with mwa lpd on analog, you can't have sutter on digital
