Option 11C Backup

Option 11C 25.40B. I tried to do a backup yesterday to the PCMIA card in slot a for the first time. I went to LD 43 did EDD and when that finished I went to LD 143 an typed UPGRADE I got the message (OS LOADING) then the system INI, has anyone had this problem before.

It happened to me many times. It always works on the second time. I usually backup the switch to a PCMCIA after hours now. XBK is the safer and longer way to do it.

Thanks I though it was me doing something wrong, as I have never done a backup to PCMCIA before and this is a new 64Mb Compact Disk in a PCMCIA adapter in slot A.

Or you can do:
LD143
UPGRADE (only from tty0)
GO through menu: 3, then 2 then 3
You can save up to 10 different sites over your PCMCIA
And so you can give a name to your save file.

To restore you can do:
LD43
RES (copy from PCMCIA to database.rec)

and then
LD143
XSL (password OHNO for all nortel switch) and the system will sysload
