I'm in the process of moving all the phone lines from a Norstart ICS into an Option 11c.
I have quite a few ATA's connected to the Norstar for devices that require regular dialtone.
In the Option 11c can I build digital sets/TN's and use the ATA? Or does the ATA ONLY work with analog sets?
I'm asking because I only have 1 unused Analog, but still have plenty of Digital...

You cant use those ATA's at all in the Option 11. You need analog ports out of the Option 11

You may want to make sure that Optipon 11 has analog licenses also before you start moving people along with an analog line card.

There's no people that would go to the analog card, all just devices. People are all moving to digital sets, and there's no issue with that, they've already been setup with a set.
Here is the LD 22/slt
Does this mean by license I can only have 16 analog phones? Or do I go on the number of TN's I have left?

System type is - PBX 11C
Nortel PBX 11C

You will need licenses as well as a card. TN's is just the total TN's you can have in the system. You are almost out of digital licenses also

I spoke to a dealer, and the sales guy said he didn't think we needed more licenses. Just the extra card. He's checking to confirm this though...

Thanks for the help!

What version is your Option 11c system?. There was a trick at one of the release 25.xx ones that allowed you to free up spare 500 set ports.

I would guess the software version was quite recent as all of the IP categories are there in the SLT, however the SLT shows 16 licensed analogue lines (1 available) so you will need a license upgrade as well as the card.

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
