I have a PtP using Mediatrix as my gateways and and VOIP circuit between two locations. Set them up as PRI with Qsig, I can call from the 11 to the 61 and I do not receive the calling party information on the 61's phone. It does show on the D-channel if I have messaging turned on but it will not show on the phone itself. All you see there is the Trunk ACOD & channel.. If I call form the 61 to the 11 everything works fine. Any ideas? This was suppose to be easy.....

Nobody, let me know if anyone needs more info. My set up is
11 PRI to gateway>sip>gateway> 61 PRI. I can call between the 2 I just don't get caller id on the 61 side.

Please post your ADAN for the two DCH. That's probably where your issue is.

Have you checked out your RCAP settings as I think you might need to add in NDI e.g.

Why are you using QSIG? Why not just use the SL-1 protocol? It works great and will probably solve your problems.

The meditrix will not do SL1,
My choices are DMS100, NI-2, QSIG, DSS, & 5ESSS

firebird, it will not let me use NDI with the IFC at ISIG and i can not do ISGF. Both systems are CS1000 rls 3 and the RDB & Trunks are built. Here is the dchannel messaging from the 61 side

DCH 17 UIPE_IMSG CC_SETUP_IND REF 00000100 TOD 14:26:20 CK 0886E42A
CALLED #:5662 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE TON: UNKNOWN
PROGRESS: CALL IS NOT END TO END ISDN
CALLING #:5923 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NAT

As you can see I can see the number from the 11 (5923) but it will not display on the phone. all i get there is the trunk info.

So if this is a point to point PRI, how come you have both the d-channels set up as USR ? Isn't the Meditrix just supplying the pipe? You should be able to push anything down the circuit you want as long as it's set up clear channel, 64k.

Also why do you have one set up as RLS 3 and one set up as RLS 25? Set them both to RLS 25, the Release 3 I'm assuming is 3.0, that should actually be set to release 26. I'm still confused by the Mediatrix why it cant be set up just to pass the PRI and allow you to pass the protocol.

Ok it's working, turns out it was a setting in the mediatrix box, as always thanks for the help.

KCFLHRC, the ID's have been changed all around that's just where they were when I did the copy and paste.
The reason I'm set as user is because they told me that they have the boxes set up as the network side. Their choices were network or user. As far as the clear channel and sending anything I was hoping for that in the begining but the guy we were working with said the boxes would not do that. I don't know enough about Mediatrix to tell him it should just be an open pipe so I went with what he said. thanks again
