option 11 rls 22 elnk

Hi, I have a option 11 rls 22 that keeps INI'ing. I am getting com008, com001 erros and then the INI. We are not using any elan, can I disable my elnk in 137 and see if this stops the com errors? Or do I need the elnk enabled for some reason? There is no OTM either. Thanks. I am also getting iod323 vaddr 0x3280 errors

I have seen this on a SSC card. The card will need replaced if you are using SSC.

Yeah thats what I figured. I already ordered a new ssc, figured it might be worth a shot disabling the elnk. Thanks.

Have you checked out your patches?. You might need P15623 for Rls 22 +

The patch now changes the software to include a read check before testing what hardware is configured on any loop and if the hardware is good. If the read test does not receive the correct information in return bug 999 is output and the loop number in hexadecimal is also printed out. This will identify faulty hardware and prevent berr messages leading to an INI.

I think patch MPLR09543 is needed for Rls 22.46

Hi,

Is the 11C in a separate broadcast domain? If not, put it in a separate broadcast domain. The 11C will INI when it gets to much broadcast traffic via the ELNK.
