I'm semi-new at option 11 stuff and I have a problem with a NT8d03 card specifically no dial tone, and the trouble follows the card i.e. put a Good card in this one's slot and dial tone, the bad card in anothers slot no dial tone

however when I go into LD32 and type ENLU 011 0 (it is in slot 11) it responds saying card unequipped, & IDC 011 gives the card name in this case NT8D03AE, is the card "bad" or am I running into a limit of some kind ?

I believe it said Unequipped, when I was in LD32, should I see what it says in LD 20? or another LD?

build a phone on the card, then do a ld 30 stat 11..

I built a port on the first open Slot and under LD10, then went into ld 32 and stat ll it changed from unequiped for unit 00 to idle but the Line is Still Dead when I put my But Set on the pairs that it's coming out of the system on
I can also Disable & stat and Enable it ok none of which seems to make any differance, it stays Dead,

Move Port 0 to port 1 and then check for dialtone, than move port 1 to port 2 and check for dialtone. do this on all ports to see if any ports are working.

get a new line card. the one you are trouble shooting is defective.

You can stat and diable in LD 32 or LD 20 (uses LD 32). Cant use LD 30 on a analog set.

The NT8D03 is a non message waiting light analog card and is probably old as hardly no uses them anymore except those who buy the off the secondary market.

Dont mean to sold sarcastic.

I have to make the test 920-322 and 920-138.
I have not taken the course and have no manuals.
does anybody know where I can find papers related to this test?
thank you very much

I should be getting a new line card, later today as I believe the line card is bad, I admit it is ODD that all the ports on the card Went out usually I know 1-2 ports may Go out but knowing what I know about solid state electronics like what is in Todays Electronics you Seldom can tell what has Failed just by looking at it "unless" you have some kind of catastropic failure on a Chip where Half the Chip is missing I've seen them occasionally but not often

if you lose something on the power input side of the card you'll have a all ports bad and your right that is less common then single ports. if in doubt in the future roll it with a know good card, disu 9 disu 11..swap them to see if the trouble moves or not. i have seen a cable that was just not seated look like a bad card.
