Option 11 Cable Max Cable Length

What's the maximum cable distance for a desk set hanging off an Option 11 analog card.

About 1500 metres if I remember right.
Every time you have a cross connection or other joints the cable length decreases radically.
So this is under ideal sircumstances.

This is dependant on loop resistance, not distance. If you are running over structured building cabling, such as Lucent, 1500m sounds ok. You can also get long line cards which will do up to 3000m.

For a digital set 915m (3000ft) 22 or 24 AWG cable
640m (2100ft) 26 AWG cable
