can anyone tell me how to recover datas from an optical disk that says (after a crash) disk not formatted?

The best way to solve this problem is by:
1 - clean the lens on the drive, by using air and a soft brush / or with a cleaning CD.
2 - clean and polish the surface of the disc.
In most cases this will cause the disc to be readable again.
Hope this helps.
