I'm programming a p2p pri to connect a Shoretel and an Opt81c. I would like to send DID calls across the T from Opt81c. Outbound calls also from Shoretel using the Opt81c trunks.

I programmed my dch with NI2 protocol and built my trunks as DID. Programmed CDP to route calls across the T. I can dial 4 digit dialing on both switches. If I dial the number from outside, it would ring the reception.

Can anyone please let me know the correct way of programming a P2P? Please post DCH, RDB, TN and so on.

Thank you very much.

Hello
seams that plug in 27 is not enabled,
Plugin 27 description:

DID to DID call intercepts to attn

BV49770

Go into pdt and do a plp 27 then you see if it is enabled or not, if not, do a ple 27 and then give them a trial.

This plugin is available since Rel. 25.40

regards and good luck

Fritz

what's the ncos of your inbound and the ncos of the tie's.. they need to match... are you using qsig? that would be my 1st choice.. usually when that happens the ncos of the inbound is lower then the ncos of the outbound.. since the dsc does not have an ncos the switch uses the ncos of the inbound trunk, if the ncos of the tie trunk is higher or if the two have the same targ it's a block.. make sure you x1 the targ in at least the internal.. i can post a tie but it's qsig.. my 81 to 11 tie is not pri so that will not help

Ncos is 7 for both inbound and outbound. Someone told me to set it up as TIE instead of DID to past did calls across the T.

it does not usually matter, did and tie are so much alike but try it.. do the targs match? and is it marked rcls int?

that tells the switch that it is an internal route

I am currently having this same problem: internal calls go over the tie no problem; external calls routed to the attendant.

Were you able to resolve the issue? If so, what was your solution?

We tried and tried for along time to get a setup like this to work, and after about 20 hours of testing, we finally went to QSIG signaling. 20 minutes to program, and has ran great ever since.

Thanks VonZipper.

Same experience. Everything routes fine since configuring with the ISGF signaling to accommodate a TIE route. Luckily, the several hours spent screwing around with restictions levels were billable T&M!
