Hi All,

This is a "101" type question however I'm in charge of several types of switches and I'm working on an older Nortel (Opt61C Rel-4 Issue-50)... been doing ok for a number of years but I sure could use a nudge in the right direction.

We're ordering a new 800# from "the cloud"; I assume the CLEC will send me ANI or DNIS but in a nutshell, can someone provide me a template of the areas of programming I need to address to accept and point the 800# and also the steps for grouping ext's to recieve the call?

Thanks for any input :)

you will give them the DNIS, if you have ld carrier, it can be non-did, if not a did number out of your range. you can put it in ld 49 IDC tables and point it from there, it can be a CDN in symposium out of ld 23, it depends on what you want to do with it.

Or, you can call your local vendor and he can get this done in a snap.

Thanks for the info bigindian65, I'll give that a try and get back to you. If anyone else wants to put there "3 cents" in I welcome that as well :)
