Alright here is my problem. We just had a new 61c installed on base and their primary reason for getting it was to be able to transfer a call from their ISDN STEs. We just let the the Nortel installer leave yesterday and they forgot to try and test the transferring. So here I am left trying to rack my brain and thumb through the books to try and find anything. Even if I can get conference to work that would be good for me then they could use that as a transfer.

I have been to some classes for these systems but I am still a novice. I know a little more than the basics but not too much, still learning. Anything is helpful.
thanks
Jason

STE = Secure Terminal Equipment

Not that I've ever used one of these, but it seems to me there should be a user guide somewhere on the Internet for the actual "device" (the ISDN set). Is the set too rare or top secret for something like that? I wouldn't know.

Yes STE = Secure Terminal Equipment

No it isn't a rare set (maybe old) Not too secret either just used to make a call top secret. They are capable to be used with ISDN or regular telephone lines (POTS). So on the set itself there is a conf. button and a xfer button but does not work with its ISDN setup.

Is there a feature that I have to turn on or a class of service I could be missing?

under ISDN Ordering gives a brief overview of it and how to conf using a DMS-100, which is no good.

Someone who has programmed BRI should be able to answer. If this thread comes up dry, you might repost with "How to Transfer/Conf with BRI" I think someone will follow up here though.

I haven't been able to get the XFER key on my STEs to work yet either, but to get the CONF function to work, in LD 27, when you are building your TSP, make sure FEATID = AO6 60 60. Since your TSPs are already built, you will have to OUT and rebuild as NEW, then you will have to reboot the STE using the MODE/MUTE buttons on the phone.
