Hi

I've obtained some "spare" system which I can use for testing purposes. After installation everything works fine except for tones... There is no tone when picking up handset, no tone for busy nor overflow. I can make call to other phone inside this system (and it's ringing but compleatly no tones!

Do you have any ideas?

Go to LD 34 and STAT your TDS. Should be:
LD 34
STAT 0

you need to add dtr's for one thing if you haven't. if you installed the default data base, they are there. ld 20 prt dtr. that is not the dialtone source but is something a lot of us forget

those are right, what did stat tds show?

I guess you've tried an INI and a SYS load. Could be a bad SSC card. You don't have a DTR/TDS card in it do you?
