Opinion on IWR ?

What is your opinion in terms of IWR. I get the idea that there are many problems with this. Is this the case or not ?

IWR is a good product in release 7. Graham.

I have worked with IWR with COGNOS 7 series.

I faced some problems like formatting issues, Excel format not good.

If the report failes to get published we don't have any Clue.

I published IMR & powerprompts, so had lot of advantage by using powerpompts.

The same report which used to work properly sometimes gave 'Server TimeOut'.

But overall a good product.

About the 'time out error' - try increasing the number of processes in the interactive quque. Maybe the PPrompts has added additional prompts to the report?

Additional Prompts? I didn't get u properly.
How can it add aditional prompts?

Sorry, I guess it sounded ambiguou.(I meant PP would have been used to create prompts in reports that did not have propmts previously, or added more prompts. We use only report prompts)
The interactive queue is what processes the propmts. So if you increase the number of proceses assigned to this queue, your time-out errors should go away.

IWR it's a good products but you have some bug like the use of dataset on a filter in the IWR.

This function it's good in Impromptu not in IWR ...
