Any one know how to clear the OpHist.mdb file?

I have a rel 2.0 MM and the file has exceeded the 2 gig size and i can't seem to do anything with it.

I know you can fix i but the last time I had it done the Avaya
Eng would not tell me how they did it.

Thanks

In the VMSC click on Tracing System and then Operation History Collection. Shorten the number of days before events expire. The next time it runs the cleanup it will delete expired events and shrink the size of the database.

Hi Ken.

You can also stop services and copy over it with a blank 1kb ophist.mdb file and then restart services. You can just make this file yourself with MSAccess.

Once your DB hits the 2GB limit then any operations trying to use it most likely will fail. You can copy a new ophist.mdb file to your system from the MM DVD/CD media. Once it is place, make sure you have the delete expired events option selected in the Tracing portion of the VMSC, which will place a scheduled task similar to the transaction generation.
