Operator says the person is not available.

HI I really appreciate any feedback on this one.

I help out this company sometimes and when they have phone problems they call me.

Today's problem is that when you call one of the employees. You go thru a ccr tree, when you press this persons number it does this: the operator says "One moment please", and then says "the person you have called is not available" then it goes back to home. Help please! What do I do?

Any suggestions or help please.
 
I forgot to mention that when you check this person's messages it falls to log option where I have enter her extension and her password. Hope this helps in solving my problem.
 
what ext is the person it says this to (is it the operator)
Is it going to a actual person or a mailbox?
does the person have there phone on DND ?
without more info there are tons of possiblitys start with these and we will trouble shoot it If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

frist thing log into the vm under the Feature 983 enter your log number then press mbox press change and Enter there mbox number then make sure the extension is set up.

If this person has a phone and the extension# is not there the system will tell you there not available, because it is designed to transfer the call to a phone.

if there is an extension number there you may need to delete that mbox and add it back. You may have a corruption on the voice mail. I find that when you start to have problems like this a reset on the vm seems to sometimes help.

Just a note; anytime you go to a phone and it prompts
you with a LOG: something is wrong. Either you're at an
extension that has no voicemail or some thing is off. An
extension with vm should always come up with PASSWORD:
