I have 20 lines on a Modular ICS 6.1 Norstar system with CallPilot 150. The first 4 lines are set setup on a night service button on the operator/attendant phone so they are answered immediately after hours by the AA and the other lines are answered after 4 or 5 rings by the AA. My problem is that after 5pm when greeting automatically switches to the non-business greeting, anyone who calls will get the after hours greeting and if you stay on the line or hit zero it rings the 'Operators' phone for the 4 or 5 rings before going to the General Delivery mailbox instead of saying no operator availble and going straight to voicemail (gen. delivery) mailbox. We have tried setting OPERATOR to N and changing Business Open to N and Y and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try setting DND (feature-85) on the operator phone when she is gone.

We currently dont have an attendant at our office. We have the atdt avail set to N always and it routes to a greeting "the operator is not avail exiting the system".

Check your ring groups and make sure that the attendant and the CP are in the same ring group for the answered lines. You might want to set call forward (manually) on the attendant phone to the general delivery mailbox. Leave the attendant as available.
