Opentext Enterprise scan - request help with barcode recognition

Hello,

I have started to install and configure Enterprise Scan for Livelink Content Server 9.7.1 and trying to scan a document with a barcode on the coversheet and store the value of barcode as an attribute for the scanned document in Livelink. I am very familiar with creating folder structure, category and attributes, Administration of Content Server 9.7.1 etc. I am also able to scan documents and store them in Livelink, but do not have sufficient information on mapping barcode value to attribute data. I went through the User and Administration Guide, but could not get the end to end solution to accomplish the task successfully.

Can anyone guide me through the steps of the solution?

when I was playing with Escan about 2 yrs back there was an example that showed you reading a 2 D barcode.I am talking about a simple bar code not MICR or OCR.Have you seen that example?

Hello Appu,

Thank you for the suggestion. I went through the example and was able to read the barcodes from the document and populate the indexing fields.
