I just resolved my TSDM situation yesterday and I have it working again. I will state that I have had that "network connection to server lost" message happen and I have decided there must be some kind of timeout set up on it if there is no activity for a while.
The problem I was having with it is that they changed how it works between when I used it on V7 R0.18.... and V7R1 and V7R2 that I have now. Before you went in there and said scan the system and then had to wait for the system to scan all the phones and populate the list. NOW when the system comes up it will show you a list of your SLMO boards and you have to select one or more of the boards with tick marks and then move them to the right side of the screen, ONLY after you do that can you go to the devices tab and have it show you the devices. I have now pushed out the latest firmware to a few troublesome "test" phones to see if it imporoves the problem with the phone losing sync / screen going dark.
I also received this information yesterday on how to add the missing terminal parameters to the phones if they are not there, but I would also like to state that after I got TSDM running (by using it correctly) that I was able to push software out to phones that did not have those settings so try it first before you take the time to change them all.
1. Deactivate the phone in question
2. ADD-SBCSU:STNO=<insert your DIGITAL station number here>,OPT=SVC,DVCFIG=VIRTDTE,DPROT=SBDSS1,DOPTIDX=10;
3. Reactivate the phone
SBCSU: If you still can't get the server running make sure it is enabled in Application Control (I assume you did) and then restart the Assistant VM, which I have done before but it always takes me a half hour to remember where it is - I think in the portal is where the Restart Assistant button is, or maybe in Webmin.
