Dear all,

I have the current scenario. I'm using an Openstage 40 SIP to connect to a corporate PBX through a VPN using a router. Is there a SIP image of the phone which provides the phone with VPN capabilities? I want to exclude the router from the scenario, so I want to be able to set the server/user/pass on the phone in order to have it connected to VPN. It is not possible to use port forwarding at the destination network.

Many thanks

No, there is only one SIP image for the phone. VPN is not supported even with the new OpenScape Desk Phone CP series. IMHO, your options would be: 1) stick with a router; or 2) get a Session Border Controller and run them over the public internet.

I use OSPE on my laptop. After I tunnel into VPN I activate the softphone.
