I am trying to setup an Openlink ODBC source to a Progress database (version 8.1) running on an Alpha. I have setup the Database options ok in the Progress tab, but when I try the test connection, I get the error
Connection unsuccessful
CONNECTION ERROR: [Openlink][ODBC]Unable to allocate server handle, SQLSTATE=S1000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to rename the dll file in your openlink directory, usually Program Files/Openlink/lite32. Rename the dll as follows nll4p90b.dll to nlll4p90b.dll. Also check that your services file has the correct database name and port number.
