I am trying open up my word documents in word, but when i double click the .doc file it opens it up in Outlook. Any ideas why this is happening

Opening up Word Documents in Outlook

You didn't mention what operating system you are using, but for most version of Windows, try this. Double click My Computer on your desktop, select Tools- Folder options. Then select the File Types tab, and scroll down to the .doc extension. If it says open with Internet Explorer, that's your problem. Change it to open with Microsoft Word and you should be back in business.
