Opening new page in Tab

This might be a very simple and basic question but when you click on a link that opens a new window, how do you set IE7 to open that page in a new tab.

if you right click the link it gives you the option to open in a new tab.

I know I can do that but I was hoping there was a setting which would alloe u to simply click on it and it would automatically do it

oh ok if you go to Tools -- internet options--then on the general tab near the bottom is a tabs section click on settings then in the section open links from other programs in: click on a new tab in current window.
