hi all

i need to open a report several times as a print preview.

however, the report is built on a cursor. this cursor is generated from a form because it depends on what a user selects.

the problem i have is that it will not let me open the report more than once.

any ideas?

Since the Report Preview window is Modal, there is no simple way around this. One way would be to write the information to temporary table and then fire up multiple copies of a "report preview only" application that used this table. Another, would be to use some of the ideas that Rick Schummer is discussing in the latest couple issues of FoxTalk magazine - creating the reports in PDF format and using Acrobat reader to preview them.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried several methods, but to no avail.

Least I wont now flog a dead horse.

Think I'll fire up Acrobat.

Thanks.
