Opening multiple files 1

Talking about it get's me thinking of approaches.
I have some VB code I used in a .HTA app to read local files but I do not remember if it was capable of multiple selections. Even then it would require more code to establish a connection to a database and upload binary files which I have not done outside of ASP with other peoples code I only partially understand so it would be a project working it out that I just do not have time for.
FTP code I already have though so if it had been a fit to the situation I could have posted it.
At my age I still learn something new every day, but I forget two others.
