I just upgraded a person from Access 97 to Access 2000. Before when she was using Access 97, she would have two .MDB files open at a time so that she could look up something in one database, then alt-tab over to the other database. After the upgrade to 2000 it does not seem possible to open more that one data base at a time. Is there a work around for this?

thanks in advance

I think you have a local set up problem - I often have 2 ( or more ) MSAccess 2k databases open at a time.

It is not a limitation of A2k

Hi,
I'm guessing you want to want two copies of the same database open at the same time. If you have a shortcut (say on your desktop) then opening the database this way won't give you a second copy if it is already open. You'll need to open Access from the command line and THEN open the database.
Cheers.
