I have been sent an e-mail containing a .dtf file. It launches into Word and Excel but is unreadable. I've tried to change the program that it opens in but no other program seems to work. Any Ideas??

Depending on the size of the file, you could open it up in notepad. I know it will be mostly jibberish but within the first few lines it should state what application created it. Knowing that, it may help you decide which application to use for opening it.

According to:
A file with a DTF extension is either a "Database File - (PFS-Questions & Answers) or a "Symantec Q&A relational database" -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"
