When I click on the contact when im online I get this message window that indicates "Program Not Found-This Program is Needed for opening files of type URL MailTo Protocol" then I clicked on the X of that window and there was another message window that popped-up indicating "Could not perform this Operation because the default mail client was not properly installed" I'm receiving and sending all my e-mails as normal in Outlook Express but whenever I click on contact it does not automaticaly take me into the New Message window. Im also running on Win98 and IE 5.0 What could we do to correct this problem?

The only options I have under IE is:
The one with the OE after it represents that thats those are the one that is picked.

HTLML Editor
e-mail= OE
Newsgroups= OE
Internet Call
Calender
Contact List

Open you Windows Explorer and then go to Tools - Folder Options - File Types and look at the command ut is running for the type URL:MailTo Protocol. It should be running the command:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /mailurl:%1 joegz

I found it. And heres what it states:

URL Mail to Protocol>

Extension: blank

Content Type (MIME)

Opens With: blank

Now, there are several options on the right >New Type<Remove>Edit.

Select EDIT
Select the OPEN action and then click on EDIT.
Enter the whole command that I listed on my previous post for the field "application used to perform action".
Click OK. joegz

Typed in command exactly with upper-case letters. I got error message "Unknown file name, make sure the path is correct"

Do a search for the msimn.exe file and confirm it is in the same place as in the command line I gave you. If it is in a different directory adjust your path accordingly. Uppercase or lowercase is irrelevant for this issue. joegz
