This is more of a client problem than something for the developers knowledge base, but I'm desperate.

We have users trying to access a page on the internet which is an asp document. When opened, IE offers to download it but not open it as it should.

What settings/premissions/account settings should I be looking at to enable this?

Please help.

Thanks

It sounds like IID on the server is not configured to serve ASP pages, which means that when linked to it acts like they are a file.
Take a look on the server, make sure its configured properly.
It make be stating the obvious, but make sure that its a Windows based server, or if linux based, ensure that there is a third party application installed to correctly process .asp pages

Hi, thanks for all your helps!

The way I got it to work was by removing the user's local Windows profile. When he logged on, a new one was created on his HD and all worked well.

Didn't think that'd have worked here, but it did so cool!

Thanks!
