I have a form that is used to track issuing assets. I would like to create a button that would atomatically open the application that I use to create a hard copy reciept of the transaction. the Aplication is in the same folder as the Data base and the folder is located on a network drive. I am still new at ACCESS so I appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance,

"90% of the problem is asking the right question.

I am a newcomer to VBA. I am trying to compare two database record by record (by name of user) If the name match completely. I want to mark this record as OK (some mark in a field). If do not match I will do another things.
I wrote the code for the comparison but I don’t know how to call this code from a form. In this initial form I should enter the name of the database I want to compare.
Two questions:
1. How can I grab the name of the database from the text box and pass it to the code that make the comparison?
2. How can I put the record I am comparing in a form and show it in order to make the user able to take any decision like mark the record or not?

Thanks,
