Hi
I am opening an old worksheet with a marco, copy the data into the new worksheet and close the old worksheet when the copying is done. The problem is that when the old worksheet opens it has its own marcos that run when it opens. I was wondering how you could suppress that. I noticed alot of options with worksheet.open but disabling marcos is not one of them. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Before opening the file, open Excel. Then click Tools-Macros-Security, and set the level to high. Then when you open the worksheet, the macros will automatically be disabled. When you want them to run, make sure to reset your security level to either medium (recommended) or low.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

But then I could not run the marco in the new worksheet that opens the second sheet with the macros I dont want to run.
