When opening a TIF file by clicking a link in the IE browser the file opens in the browser window, however I want it to use Kodak Imaging software by default (it is actually using this but within the browser - I want it to use the native software).

Any ideas?

Right click on any tif file.

Click on properties there you should see Type of file etc and also what it opens with as default if you arent happy with the program click change and select the one you want from the list that pops up.

That doesn't help I'm afraid. I'm in IE6 browsing the web, I want to click on a link to a TIF file and have it open in Kodak Imaging. What it does at the moment is open in the Kodak Imaging plug-in within IE which is no good to me.

Clicking on a TIF file on the C: drive works fine but that's not the issue.
