Hi I am trying to get a number to play. The number is stored in an Integer... It will not work... any ideas?

OPEN VOICE SESSION mmail_access
PLAY PROMPT
NUMBER martin_int_gv
VOICE SEGMENT martin_clid_vs

END VOICE SESSION

Do you have your file1 recordings in place?

The NUMBER and NUMBERBYDIGIT pull recordings from file1 to play specific numbers; it is all preprogrammed within that command. But you have to actually create an application in CallPilot called file1 and record the appropriate announcements. For example, item 1 in the CallPilot file1 app needs to say "zero," because c_zero_gv in CCMS has a predefined value of file1:1.

Back in the Meridian Mail days, you could really only have two voice files - one was file1 and the other you could name whatever - file2 was common.

Is it possible to have voice segments in more than one file on CallPilot. All of my pre-named number variables are in file1 and my user defined voice segments are in sccs_prompts. I've been using the ones in sccs_prompts but now I'm wondering how to reference the ones in file1 in the SDN table.

herbie, check my note in your other post, and let me know.
