I often times save my changes before working in Voicemail Pro just incase I need to go back and reload the old settings.
However, I've never had to go back until now. I know where my saved .vmp configs are but I can't find an option to open the config and "Save and Make Live"
How do you open a .vmp file that is saved?

I never used the save vmp files, I used to export and import to restore.

The vmp files are not used for this.
You need to have a backup or a backup of the VMData.mdb file.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

if you have the Linux version then you can copy and paste it into the correct folder to replace the database you are having by default.
You will need to rename it to root.vmp though

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.

Thank you for your replies guys. I tried out the export feature and that helps with my issue so I'll just export rather than save as.
I'm not sure why they'd even have the "save as" function in the Server 2008 version if you cannot use it to import. Anyway it was just one module that I lost so I just recreated it and moved on.
Thanks for the tip on the export feature though.
