If I have an IP address in a cell in an excel sheet, is there a way for me to create a hyperlink that would open this IP host in a telnet session? Say using just MS built in telnet.exe?
Thanks
David

Would it not be as simple as putting something like in cell then following the link?

Just another thought, maybe try posting this in the scripting forum? The smart folks over there could probably answer this one lickety split!..you may be able to tell, but this is all guess work for me! ;)

Works but get several pop-ups to have click through...
one on hyperlinks can be harmful....and one on a virus warning for the bat/cmd file.
