I wonder what experiences people here have had with open source data mining tools (Weka, Yale / RapidMiner, Orange, etc.)?

I have the same query.I am trying to use WEKA to forecast on call centre and from researching, I found that transactional data have to be converted into time series, into single relational table before it can be uploaded and trained, tested and evaluated.
Has anyone seen any case studies based on WEKA?
